The Old Moody Homestead was the original home of Mr. Isaac I. Moody.
Mr. Moody was the founder of Flagler County and the trees are dated by an arborist as 400 years old.
The two largest oaks in the grove of oak trees at the Old Moody Homestead are registered with The Live Oak Society under the names of "The Moody Oak" and "The Old Moody Homestead Oak".
