| Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach is inviting the public to participate in a hike in the hammock on Friday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m. This will be a ranger-led hike on the Joe Kenner Nature Trail, a one mile loop trail that winds through a shady coastal forest. Participants will need to wear sturdy shoes and may want to wear long pants. Sunscreen, insect repellant and drinking water recommended. The cost of the event is included in the regular park entrance fee of $5 per carload of two to eight people, $4 for one person in a car and $2 per pedestrian or bicyclist.
